Where can i get my Cadillac convert changed without braking the bank?

I have a 98 honda account and it needs a Cadillac converter. I was told it would it be over $500. Is that normale? Where is a good place to take it? Is it easy to replace yourself?|||It's actually called a catalytic converter, and universals will sometimes work, but it depends on what the car's computer wants to see by design. Otherwise, you might need to get the OEM specific converter. Any exhaust shop can get one and put it on for you, it will need to be welded in, so I would suggest letting them take care of it. But this gives you more options to call around for a good price and some information to see which way you should go.|||thats kinda high!, i only payed a little over$100.00 for mine, but i got a universal type, it works just as good and alot cheaper too.
