Does a Cadillac with a northstar engine cost more to fix?

I am considering buying one of two used cadillacs. both are in good condition, but one has a northstar engine. Will this cost more in the future for repairs and maitenence than a non-northstar cadillac?|||no actually the north star engine was one of their best engines ever and doesn't give that many problems, and even when they do tear up their not that expensive to repair, our road commissioner has one that has well over 300 thousand miles on it and its still going real good and he refuses to get rid of the car,i have serviced it for the past ten years and its amazing that it has held together that long, good luck and have a really good holiday season,|||i wouldn't buy any cadillac, but the northstar can rack up some mileage. it's probably better than the non-northstar one.||| Anything on one of those big ugly gas hogs is expensive you can not even junk one cheap which is what should be done to all of them.
