What would be faster a 2000 Cadillac Eldorado ETC or a 2000 Lincoln LS V8?

My friend seems to think that his Lincoln would be faster than my cadillac and I know my cadillac has 300 horse power and his lincoln only has 252. What do you think? Anyone had this race before?|||Under equal circumstances, the Eldorado is faster then the Lincoln LS. The LS isn't much lighter then the Eldorado, and the Eldorado has a better performing engine. The LS has a little 3.9 V8, versus the Eldorado's 4.6 Northstar V8 that makes much more torque and high RPM horsepower. Don't listen to the other responses because your car is faster then his. A 6.5 second 0-60 is very impressive for such a big luxury car. Northstar engines take no prisoners if they're running good!

Tell your friend that your car is electronically governed at 155mph. That means it is capable of going faster, and proves the superiority of the Northstar engine. Also tell him that your car has essentially the same engine as the new Cadillac XLR roadster.|||dont matter if your cars got more horse power, the lincoln would win. that is if ur talking street race. i have no idea what kind of suspension those vehicles have so i dont have an answer for you for a race around a track. But up until recently caddys have generally been flashy town cars, not fast ones.|||The LS is much quicker. NO questions. Facts. Just bc one has more horsepower doesn't automatically make it faster. Plus it will come down to the driver. Any two of those cars can beat the other on any given day, but if they two identical drivers, the LS for sure!|||They are luxury cares. Don't you think you should be looking at other cars like Cameros etc. Why the hell would anyone want to race a 4,000 pound car that handles like a marshmellow. DUH !|||I think the Lincoln is faster. It is much lighter and smaller.|||LS V8 LINCOLN ALL DAY BUY ME ONE TO PLEASE
