MY security light is on in my 1992 cadillac can any one tell me how to reset this light |||after you do the above plan on getting a new key soon the chip might be damaged if it happens more than once|||disconnect your battery and re hook it up and the light will go off||| Take the battery out then put it back in, leave car at curb with key in it.
No more problem.|||turn the switch on and unhook hot post then turn switch back off after about 10 sec. and hook hot post back up
