I'm looking at a 2000 Cadillac Deville, but it has 240k miles on it.|||Pass on it unless you have a HUGE maintenance budget for that car.
Nothing is cheap to work on with a Caddy.
Nevermind that you have the Caddy price premium on any repair.|||That's a LOT of miles. If it's been maintained, you may have another 250k miles in it, but you are going to have to replace some pretty major stuff. Probably, alternator, water pump, transmission rebuild, possibly brakes, possibly radiator. Still WAY cheaper than you could buy another car as nice as those DeVilles are. |||It depends how well it was maintained previously...but at that mileage, big things will start to go, i.e. transmission for starters.|||Pass ,the less number of those big ugly gas hogs on the road the better.|||its only broke in good they are good cars.
